Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung opens funding round for a sustainable based project
The foundation Else Kröner-Fresenius, located in the city of Bad Homburg near Frankfurt, is one of the largest foundations in Germany. With an annual funding volume of currently about 50 Mio. Euro, it supports medical and scientific as well as medical and humanitarian projects.
Successfull at the World Health Summit
The panel discussion "Hospital Partnerships for Improved Service Delivery - Strengthening Competencies of Medical Personnel" at the World Health Summit in Berlin October 15th served as an excellent platform for a deep exchange between partners and experts. One message was clearly shown up: the key factors for a healthy partnership are, beyond different countries and cultures, always the same.

Federal Minister Müller presents first funding pledges
The 'Hospital Partnerships – Partners Strengthen Health' initiative is taking off. On 20 February in Munich, Federal Development Minister Dr Gerd Müller and Dr Carolin Kröner of the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation presented the first funding pledges to six institutions in Bavaria and to a project by Eichsfeld Hospital.
